As Without Eyes

Yesterday was the worst day ever. Not for a long time to a neighboring apartment moved newly married couple. From the first sight they seemed to me very polite and nice people. I thought we would be great neighbors. But as it found out, they didn’t search friends among their neighbors. Almost every day they made parties: a crowd of guest, loud music and so on and so forth. It was terrible. Several time I asked them to switch off their music, but all my requests were failed. Yesterday night wasn’t an exception. And as a result I overslept. Usually every morning I have the whole ceremony of preparing to the work. I wake up, brush my teeth, take a shower, dress, wear my color contact lenses, have breakfast, check my mail box and without any haste leave the apartment. But yesterday everything was another. I had to break my set ceremony, because I was too late. I dressed the first I found in my wardrobe and absolutely forget about contact lenses. Contacts are the most important item in the morning ceremony, because I have a very bad eye sight. It runs in the family. I don’t wear glasses, only contacts, because at school I had a nickname – four – eyes. It was very offensive and now only contacts. My surrounding even doesn’t know about the problems with my eyes.

It was the worst day ever. I was almost as blind as a mole without my color contact lenses. Usually I take a taxi, but yesterday I used a tube. It was really the best variant to reach the office that day. Of course, I was thirty minutes late and besides I whirled away and didn’t mentioned how I barged into my boss Mr. Ploughman. The whole day I looked stupid. I was fit for nothing yesterday; I didn’t recognize anyone and my boss Mr. Ploughman decided that I was ill and asked me to go home to get well. I was very embarrassed and left the office. I took a taxi. As it found out, a driver of my taxi was my class – mate John, but I didn’t recognize him either and he decided that I was presumptuous, because he was a driver. So, it was the worst day ever.
